A professional gambler at the age of nine, she carved a swath of larceny, indecency and mayhem across the Southwest that resulted in the shocking resignations of three United States congressmen and the enactment of no less than five laws. And yet despite these repercussions she has never been charged with a crime. She remains at large and "in business".
